Actor Nam Tae-hoon will join MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "My Dearest".

"My Dearest" (planned by Hong Seok-woo/directed by Kim Sung-yong, Chun Soo-jin/written by Hwang Jin-yeong) is a human history melodrama about the love of lovers and the vitality of the people during the Manchu War.

Nam Tae-hoon, who previously appeared in MBC's "The Veil", directed by Kim Sung-yong, made a strong impression by playing the role of Jeon Heung-sik, a North Korean defector from a special unit who was ordered to remove Han Ji-hyeok (Namkoong Min). In "My Dearest", he plays Tae Seong, a Confucian scholar in Neunggun-ri, who is curious but lives in compliance with reality.
