Park Chan-wook's "Old Boy" is included in a list of the twenty best plot-twists, according to leading film periodical Premiere. "Old Boy" is a rare non-US inclusion and the only Asian film to make the list.
Routinely, the US film magazine focuses on Hollywood films. Besides "Old Boy", only the German The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and the British The Crying Game are exceptions. Premiere also selected M. Night Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense, Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, Terry Gilliam's Twelve Monkeys, and Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects; among others.
