Open City OST

After wrapping up the medical drama series The Great White Tower with a commanding performance, Kim Myung Min (Return) takes to the silver screen again with Open City, a cat-and-mouse classic action thriller co-starring Son Ye Jin (April Snow). The chameleon actress takes on a challenging femme fatale role as the leader of a pick-pocketing ring. Kim plays the detective who tragically falls in love with his target.

Musical director Lee Wook Hyun brings his long years of experience into the sounds of Open City. Lee's previous accomplishment includes soundtracks for films like Ditto, My Boss, My Hero, and Sunflower. Incorporating Hollywood-style orchestral music into the film's speedy action sequences, Lee skillfully amplifies the grandiose scale and suspense element necessary for such scenes. In addition, for the much publicized Son Ye Jin tattoo scene, Lee borrows the classic tunes of Chopin - Nocturnes No. 20. Joon Suh, better known for his ballad "Forgive Me" from the drama Four Gods, lends his vocals to Han Soon Gan ("At One Moment") (Track 2). The delicate love scenes featuring Kim Myung Min and Son Ye Jin are backed up by sexy jazz number Jamshi Nayeotdun Ner (Track 3), sung by a newcomer Ji Hyun. Last but not least, Angelo, the singer behind Yongsur ("Forgiveness") from the movie Sunflower, offers a beautiful rendition of Gi Uk (Track 24).

영화 “무방비 도시 OST” 발매
한류스타 “손예진”과 최근 “하얀거탑”으로 최고의 인기를 얻고 있는 “김명민”이 출연해 화재를 낳고 있는 영화 “무방비 도시”OST를 발매한다. 기자시사회에서 많은 호평과 기대를 얻고 있는 이 영화의 음악은<동감>, <두사부일체>, <홍반장>, <해바라기> 등 관객들의 심금을 울리는 음악을 들려주었던 이욱현 음악감독이 맡았다. 영화의 잔인한 액션장면을 헐리웃 스타일의 오케스트라 음악으로 웅장함과 긴장감으로 한층 업그레이드 시켰고, 극중 타투？ 장면에는 김석란 교수가 연주한 “Chopin - Nocturnes No. 20”으로 세련미를 더했으며, 주인공과 엄마와의 대립장면에서는 잔잔한 음악으로 영화에 더욱더 힘을 실어 주었다. 또한, <태왕사신기>를 통해 인기를 얻었던 가수 ‘준서’가 “恨(한)순간”이란 노래를 불러 애절함을 더했고, 신인가수 ‘지현’의 재즈풍의 노래 “잠시 나였던 너”를 통해 김명민과 손예진의 사랑을 표현했다. 여기에, 영화 <해바라기>에 삽입되어 많은 사랑을 받은 노래 “용서”를 부른 가수 ‘angelo’가 “ㄱ(기억)”을 불러 OST의 완성도를 한층 높였다.
