i wasnt blown away by the animation at all. i felt that it was more like a television special rather than a movie. and there was toooo much crying!!! geez stop crying for once kids!!! despite the crying, it was a great story. i just dont understand why no one tried to look for the boy even if the clumsy oaf monk still was unconscious. i look forward to some more movies from SEONG baek-yup

Beautifully written story! You'll love this animat Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"Oseam" was adapted from a novel, originally written by Jung Chae Bong in 1984, and the book itself has been a steady seller ever since. This beautiful animation is a story about Gilson, a boy who is on a journey with Gami, his sister who became blind in her childhood, looking for his mother. A couple of Buddhist priests find them in the mountains, and Gilson and Gami encounter a change in their lives...and the story goes on....

"Oseam" will bring tears to your eyes......

Slightly overrated... Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Overall a pretty good movie but it tried too hard at times. It tried too hard to be cute and sentimental. There are subtle ways to achieve those. Also the Matrix style sequence totally destoryed the feel of the movie. Yes, it's technically admiring but no it's not for this kind of movies.
