MBC's new mini series Over the Rainbow takes viewers into the dynamic world of music and dance. The vibrant cinematography, bopping soundtrack, and amazing dance choreography set the tone for this colorful ode to youth. Directed by Han Hee (Super Rookie), Over the Rainbow features a fresh, young cast including Fany (Hwan Hee) of pop group Fly to the Sky in his acting debut, Ji Hyun Woo (Old Miss Diary), Kim Ok Bin (Hello, God), Seo Ji Hye (My 19 Year Old Sister-in-Law), and pioneering hip hop dancer Poppin' Hyun Joon.

Aspiring singer Hee Soo (Kim Ok Bin) runs away from home, traveling from Australia to Korea to pursue her musical dreams. Rough-and-tumble Hyuk Joo (Ji Hyun Woo) is determined to prove himself as a dancer, but the music industry is full of obstacles for a newcomer. Arrogant pop idol Rex (Fany) has countless fans and hit records, but no say over his own music. Spunky market vendor Sang Mi (Seo Ji Hye) wants to change her life for the better, but can't find her place in the entertainment business. When these four young people meet, new sparks dance into their lives. Amidst the unseen hardships, backstage drama, and conflicts of heart, they must find their own path to their dreams and earn their places on stage.

《跨越彩虹》的劇情圍繞著熱戀舞蹈的年輕男女們。丁熙秀（金玉彬）離開在紐西蘭的父親，逃到首爾以便實現她 成為歌手的夢想.熙秀在權赫柱（池賢宇）的屋子裡租了一間房，並且發掘了赫柱的舞蹈天分。為此，她不惜離開她的男友，赫柱，另奔歌手，Rex（歡喜）的懷抱。Rex不介意被利用，盡全力幫忙缺乏天分的熙秀。一位名為相美（徐智慧）的怪女孩，是Rex的頭號歌迷。雖然她生活貧窮，卻對有興趣的事物充滿熱誠。起初，她遭眾人歧視。但漸漸地，大家接受了她。赫柱也對她漸生好感。當Rex也開始為相美著迷時，實情陷入了一片混亂！

Over the Rainbow is about three people who loved to dance. The main characters are played by young talents Hwan Hee, Kim Ok Bin, and Ji Hyun Woo. Jeong Hee-su (Kim Ok Bin) ran away from her father in New Zealand and tried to make a go as a singer in Seoul. She ended up renting a room in Hwon Hyeok-ju's (Ji Hyun Woo) home and helped him realized his talent in dancing. Her main goal was to become famous and for that she turned to the famous singer Rex (Hwan Hee) and dumped her boyfriend Hyeok-ju. Rex didn't mind being used and helped her along even though Hee-su wasn't that talented. Then there was this oddball, Sang-mi, who was a huge fan of Rex. She was poor but full of passion for doing the things she loved. At first, she was despised by everyone but bit by bit she won people over. Hyeok-ju began to develop feelings for her. Things went crazy when Rex started to fall for Sang-mi too!

Hey, I'm really interested in buying this DVD. But I have a few questions about this. I don't really understand the information that you had on this page. So this is the whole series of "Over the rainbow" from episode 1 to 16? Which is 9 DVD included in the box ? and I see this is DVD region 3 that means I can't use it because I am from the U.S. ?I am sorry for asking questions. I just wanna make sure everything before I purchase this product.

Incredible Nice to Watch! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I am not a fan of any of the 4 actors & actressess. But after watching this drama, i was very impressed by their performance & of course their dancing & singing skills.....This is indeed a drama different from others, enjoyed the show very much, strongly recommend for the young ones & for those who feel like to be young & energetic again!!!

I enjoyed this movie a lot. The first series i have seen with a lot of dancing and singing. Ji Hyun Woo really did a good job considering he is opposite Fly to the Sky singer. I am also impressed to see that he aside from singing, surpringly he can act. Hope this will be the start of more projects for him. Over-all this series you should not miss.
