Oversea film festival's invitation about 'Oldboy' continues

As director Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy" is to be screened as an opening film in the TRANSILVANIA International Film Festival, scheduled to be held from May 27 through June 5 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, oversea film festival's invitation about this cinema is being continued.

This Film Festival greeting the 4th as of this year, is the sole international film festival which is held in Romania currently.

In Focus Korea section of this Film Festival also, 'A Good Lawyer's Wife' by director Im Sang-soo, 'Desire' by director Kim Eung-soo, 'Oasis' by director Lee Chang-dong, 'A Tale of two sisters' by director Kim Jee-woon and 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' by director Park Chan-wook are to be screened together.

Cinema 'Oldboy' has a plot, in which an average man is kidnapped and imprisoned in a hotel room for 15 years without explanation.

He then is released, equipped with money, a cellphone and expensive clothes. As he strives to explain his imprisonment and get his revenge, he soon finds out that not only his kidnapper has still plans for him, but that those plans will serve as the even worse finale to 15 years of imprisonment.
