Park Si-yeon, Challenge Kim Hye-soo of "The War of Flower" as 'femme fatale"

Source | 2008/05/22 | 1601 views | Permalink | 0 comments |
Park Si-yeon received the role of Yoo-ri, a provocative, sexy woman, in "Marine Boy", a thriller surrounding a Marine Boy who transports drugs in the ocean by hiding them in his body.

For Park Si-yeon, her idiot and sexy images are said to coexist, but through "Marine Boy", she will officially act as a "Femme Fatale". Yoo-ri interferes in the business between drug carrier Chun-soo (Kim Kang-woo) and President Kang (Jo Jae-hyeon), who puts Chun-soo in danger.

She has the job of a jazz singer, but she hides her real identity and tempts President Kang and Chun-soo and unfolds her secret plans.

In order to transform into a provocative and sexy Yoo-ri that surpasses Madame Jeong in "The War Of Flower", Park Si-yeon has prepared to be thoroughly transformed from her head to her feet. After casting, she is receiving vocal training for a perfect performance as a jazz singer.

A former swimmer, the drug carrier Chun-soo is played by Kim Kang-woo. Chun-soo hides drugs in his body and transports them across the ocean. He is harassed as the 'Marine Boy' and is in the center of a legal whirlpool. In order to play the part of a swimmer, he is practicing scuba and training in swimming.

President Kang, who puts Chun-soo in danger, is played by Jo Jae-hyeon. Jo Jae-hyeon threw away his soft charisma as Professor Choi Kang-gook from "New Heart" and transforms into the boss of the drug business.

In addition, Lee Won-jong plays a leader of the drug control team and Oh Kwang-rok plays a professional in bugging and hidden cameras.

"Marine Boy" had its first filming on the 17th in Seoul. The filming was of Chun-soo and Yoo-ri's first meeting, and Jo Jae-hyeon and Oh Kwang-rok, who had no parts that day, visited the set and encouraged Kim Kang-woo, Park Si-yeon, and the staff and created a warm atmosphere.

"Marine Boy" is set to premiere at the end of this year.
