She is currently in the KBS 2TV drama "Romance Town" acting as No Soon-geum. She had been in several items after changing her career course to an actress but she always suffered from issues about her acting and such. However, she has showed development and progress in this drama and she is getting lots of attention.

At a press briefing nearby the shooting site on the 23rd, she started off by saying, "I wish they enjoy what is given to them" when she was asked, "You have only just become free of the name tag that used to follow me around for being an actress turned idol. Recently there have been many girl group members who have started acting like T-ara's Ham Eun-jung or Kara's Goo Ha-ra. They are concerned about the same things as you did and as a senior actress, what would you like to tell them?"

She continued, "I wonder why I didn't try and enjoy what I had when I was the big issue. Of course I wasn't good because I had never learnt acting professionally. Still, I had the good chance to act. Nameless actors and actresses go through 50 auditions and still don't get the chance to act but us former idols got the good opportunity to. I wish they enjoy that chance".

Eventually she means, as much as the chances of casting have come easier relatively, even if people around you rebuke, be thankful for what you got and enjoy it. This is coming from Sung Yu-ri who has been walking on thorns in the middle of the mountains as an actress turned idol.

Meanwhile, she is housemaid No Soon-geum at 1st Street House in "Romance Town" who got chosen as first place in the Lotto. She is also involved in a three way relationship with a plutocrat's son Kang Gun-woo (Jung Gyu-woon) and Kim Yeong-hee (Kim Min-jun) and has been getting many positive feedbacks on her acting.
