Ryu Si-won to marry on Oct. 26

Ryu Si-won, 38, dubbed by fans as an "eternal prince", announced to fan clubs all over the world on Oct. 6, his 39th birthday, that he was going to get married on Oct. 26.
"I have important news to announce on my 39th birthday and I wanted my fans and family to be the first ones to know", wrote Ryoo on his fan site. "I am going to get married on Oct. 26".
Ryoo also revealed that he would become a father next spring. "I could only announce the news now because the bride is not a celebrity", continued Ryoo. "I am sorry that I couldn't tell everyone sooner and I hope you forgive me".
Ryoo's agency, R's Company, said that Ryoo will have a private wedding at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel. Ryoo and the bride met last year through a common friend. The bride studied dance but is not doing anything right now except wedding preparations.
According to iWedding Networks, the company in charge of their wedding, Ryoo wanted a simple and plain wedding. Although he is a top star in Korea, he was taking the same steps that any other clients would.
"We will do all we can to make the wedding that the bride and groom have requested", said the company's CEO Kim Tae-wook.
Ryoo will also hold a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel today at 4p.m. and reveal his thoughts.
Ryoo first made his debut 16 years ago and since then, has been a successful actor and MC. In 2004, he left Korea and went to Japan. In Japan, his nationwide tours have sold out for five consecutive years and he was the first non-Japanese, Asian male artist to claim the number one spot on the official Japanese music chart.
Recently, Ryoo has shown potential as an entrepreneur. He is a coach and racer for pro car racing team TEAM106, founded entertainment company Abnormal106, and even produced an album for the singer Rottyful Sky. He is planning to come back as an MC later this year through MBC's program Fox's Butler.

소속사인 알스컴퍼니에 의하면 류시원은 오는 26일 남산 서울 그랜드 하얏트 호텔에서 비공개로 식을 올릴 예정이라고 한다. 또한 류시원의 예비신부는 작년에 지인의 소개로 알게 된 무용을 전공한 여성으로, 현재 결혼 준비 이외에 특별한 활동은 하고 있지 않은 것으로 알려졌다.
두 사람의 결혼 준비를 담당하는 ㈜아이웨딩네트웍스에 의하면 류시원은 톱스타임에도 불구하고 검소하고 소박한 결혼준비를 원하며, 일반 고객과 똑같은 결혼준비 절차를 밟고 있는 중이다. 김태욱 대표는 "신랑, 신부의 의견에 따라 진지하고 경건한 예식을 준비 중이며 최선의 노력을 다 하겠다" 고 전했다.
