South Korean Director Chang Sung has been designated the winner for the category of character animation at the 63rd Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards, which is set to open next month in the United States.
Chang has been named a winner for his outstanding achievement in his vivid character expressions in "Firebreather", a computer-generated imagery (CGI) 3D animated film directed by Peter Chung.
Director Kim Sang-jin was awarded the same prize for a 2D movie in 2007, but Chang is the first South Korean director to win a prize for a 3D film.
