SBS "Athena" leads for 4th week on primetime chart

SBS drama "ATHENA" has taken the crown for the fourth week in terms of viewership for Mondays and Tuesdays' primetime series.

"ATHENA" showed another two to three percent drop in terms of average viewership this week, scoring 15.1 percent on a survey by Total National Media Statistics (TNmS) and 16.5 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research's poll.

"ATHENA", a spin-off of KBS' blockbuster hit series "IRIS", which star actors Jung Woo-sung, Soo Ae, Cha Seung-won and Lee Ji-ah, deals with world of spies amid competition among governments to secure nuclear technology.

MBC series "Queen of Reversals" came in next, posting an average viewership of 11.45 percent on TNmS' chart and 14.9 percent on AGB's list, both figures also falling by a percent from last week's numbers.

"Queen of Reversals", starring Kim Nam-joo, Jung Joon-ho and Park Si-hoo, tells the story of the joys and struggles in the workplace through one woman, her relationship with her former husband, her new love-interest and her colleagues.

Meanwhile, new KBS series "Dream High" which premiered this week reported an average viewership rating of 11.4 percent according to the findings by TNmS and 10.7 percent on AGB's chart.

"Dream High" starring Kim Soo-hyun, Bae Suzy, Ok Taecyeon, Ham Eun-jung, Wooyoung and Lee Ji-eun is about six teenagers working to achieve their dream in Kirin Art School that produces top singers and entertainers in the country.

The series, which is a collaboration between KEYEAST owned by Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon and JYP Entertainment established by singer-producer J.Y. Park, has received much hype for casting actual idol singers as the main leads.
