A former member of the boy group SS501, Heo Yeong-saeng will contribute to the soundtrack of JTBC's current drama "Fermented Family".
The singer's agency announced on Dec. 27 that the singer will contribute a track called "The Words on My Lips" on the second part of the original soundtrack for the hit drama.
The song was composed by the composer Park Hyun-joong and is a song about a man who hesitates to confess his love due to the fear of rejection.
The drama on the newly formed JTBC network revolves around a Korean restaurant and features the actor Song Il-gook who came to fame from the period drama "Jumong" in 2006.
Heo made his debut in the music industry in 2005 with the boy band SS501 which also included K-pop star Kim Hyun-joong. The members of the popular boy band decided to pursue solo careers from the beginning of this year. Heo made his solo debut with a mini-album "Let It Go" released on May 12. The title track also featured Hyun-A from the girl group 4Minute and was a hit.
