Son Ye-jin's "Chilling Romance" beat "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 1" and has taken its place in the top spot at the box office.
According to the Korean Film Council, "Chilling Romance" gathered 78,604 admissions as of December 7th and stood tall in first. With an average number of 60~70 thousand admissions during the week, it has accumulated 717,195 admissions.
"The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 1", which hit the top of the box office the moment it was released, was beaten by "Chilling Romance" and fell down to 2nd place. In the same period of time, it brought in 40,479 admissions, totaling 937, 983.
Third place went to Steven Spielberg's 3D adventure "The Adventures of Tin Tin". This movie which was released on December 7th, brought in 25,945 audiences on the first day and has accumulated 32,330 so far.
The fourth place goes to action film "SIU" with Eom Tae-woong and Joo Won and the fifth place to "Punch", which shot down all films that were released in November.
