Song Kang shows his trend with SBS Friday-Saturday drama "My Demon" and Netflix series "Sweet Home - Season 2". Both works are ranked at the top of the Netflix Top 10 series rankings in Korea as well as overseas countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, and the overall popularity rankings in the performers category announced by FUNdex, the official platform of Good Data Corporation, while Song Kang's personal SNS followers have shown a steady rise, proving global popularity.

In "My Demon" and "Sweet Home - Season 2", Song Kang plays a truly 'genre-destroying' role, from sweet romance comedy to intense creativity. First, in "My Demon", he paints the small screen pink every time as Jung Goo-won, the devil of a deadly and perfect existence. The relationship with Do Do-hee (Kim You-jung), a demonic chaebol heiress, begins when a tattoo accidentally transfers to Do-hee, becoming her bodyguard to protect it, and through the process of getting married, it shows that their relationship gradually gets closer. Here, Song Kang is interested in drawing the romance of the two characters, who are like the wheels of fate, by further enhancing the charm of Goo-won, including deep melodramatic eyes, facial expressions, hilarious comic action, and colorful visuals.

On the other hand, in "Sweet Home - Season 2", Cha Hyeon-soo's accumulated emotional lines from season 1 leads to immersion. Song Kang heads to the Bamseom Special Disaster Base on his own to find clues to solving the monster situation and to end the situation, but eventually chooses the lonely life of a specially infected person, with relentless action and various emotional performances. In particular, Hyeon-soo's feelings in the interview, which he never revealed even though he seeks for Eun-yoo (Go Min-si), "I think it's because he knows that he is not the first person Eun-yoo is anxiously looking for. Knowing her, I think he might have been disappointed when he saw himself, kept his secret, and repaid his grace", he completed Cha Hyeon-soo with an in-depth interpretation and research of the character. These efforts stimulate tears by fully conveying to viewers Hyun-soo's heart that sacrifices and is dedicated to protecting 'people' even in an impoverished world where the distinction between humans and monsters and good and evil has become ambiguous.

Song Kang drew the public's attention by breathing life into the characters with different charms and personalities, saving the powerful 'Homme Fatal Demon' whom he wants to embrace and Hyeon-soo, who is full of affection. In addition, expectations are high for Song Kang's next move, which is filling up a variety of filmography with constant challenges such as romance, creativity, and human genres presented with "Nevertheless", "Navillera", and "Love Alarm".

"My Demon", starring Song Kang, airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM, and "Sweet Home - Season 2" is only streaming in more than 190 countries around the world on Netflix.
