Song Seung Heon - Asia Fan Meeting 2006 (Japan Version) DVD Region 2

Korean Wave star Song Seung Heon bid a temporary farewell to his fans in November 2004 to enlist in the army and fulfill his two-year mandatory military service. Though this is a rite of passage that almost all young males in Korea have to go through, Song's case was a bit different. While he enlisted amidst an army dodging controversy, his discharge was greeted with unprecedented fanfare. Fans and media eagerly counted down to his discharge date, November 15, 2006, and over 700 people traveled far and wide to Hwacheon where Song was stationed to welcome him back.

On November 18 to 19, Song Seung Heon held the large-scale Asia Fan Meeting 2006 at Olympic Park in Seoul. Nine thousand fans from all over Asia attended the event. Special video footage was shown during the meeting, and Song Seung Heon shared his army experiences; a concert consisting of music from his dramas was held on the second day. Special guests at the fan meeting included SG Wannabe, SAT, Im Tae Kyung, and Jung Il Young.
