Sorry Singles, This App is Just for COUPLES!

Spring is here and so is the season for love! When I go outside I see happy couples everywhere. Couples eating together, couples holding hands, smiling together… While this, alone, was enough to make me moody I heard the news that there is now a special social media platform for couples or for those who want to connect with only one other person. (YAAAARGH!)

This mobile app is called Between and according to the company's website, Between is a secret place for lovers to communicate and keep their precious moments. This smart app was created by designers at Value Creators & Company (VCNC), a South Korean company that develops mobile applications and web services. The fact that the creative minds behind the app are designers by trade is quite evident from the beautiful interface.

While some people might want to boast their everlasting love on public social media channels like Facebook or Twitter, it is hard to avoid jealous comments and sometimes it just get too much for the third person to watch. Between is a good place for lovebirds to keep their kiss blowing pictures to themselves. This app also includes an event box that alerts you important dates so you won't forget the all-important one year anniversary. The chat channel is a bonus and with the passcode system, no one else but you and your significant other can read the messages!

The creative (and rather well-produced) video below (it's in Korean) shows how a shy guy asks a girl to be his girlfriend and the girlfriend says yes by saying they should do Between together. If Between becomes more popular, "Let's do Between together" may well rival "Will you be my girlfriend?" in terms of frequency.

The list of things I like (and like to do) is endless: Shopping, Gummy jellies, Lilies... and it goes on
