The outing which was organized to boost the spirits of Yeonpyeong residents who couldn't return home for the Lunar New Year holiday took place at a movie theater near their temporary housing in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province.
Prior to the movie screening Minister Choung encouraged them to stay positive and that the government will do its best to help the students' academic environment.
The movie they got to see was "GLove" which is a heartwarming story about a baseball team and its coach from a school for the hearing-impaired.
North Korea shelled Yeonpyeong Island this past November leaving four people dead including two civilians.
