On the fifteenth episode of KBS TV drama "Brain", there was tension between Ji-hye (Choi Jeong-won) and Yoo-jin (Kim Soo-hyun) over Kang-hoon (Sin Ha-gyoon).
While Kang-hoon had delayed his first date with Ji-hye because of a surgery he needed to carry out, Ji-hye called him not knowing this. Yoo-jin, who was watching his surgery on video, suspected the relationship between the two and answered his call saying, "Kang-hoon is in surgery. He will be working here for the time being".
Emphasizing that Tae Yang Hospital belonged to her cousin brother-in-law Tae-seong, Yoo-jin added, "Did you have plans to meet tonight? Oh dear, he's not available. Is there a message I can deliver to him?" For Ji-hye, who had waited a week for this date with excitement, she was at loss for words. Yoo-jin who saw the time and date written on Kang-hoon's hand, also showed displeasure as she could assume his crush.
However, the surgery he had postponed the date with Ji-hye for took an unexpected turn. Despite the fact that it was successfully completed, chairman Cha filed a suit against Kang-hoon for not getting permission to undergo surgery. Not only that, he moved to Cheon Ha University Hospital and gave support to Sang-cheol (Jeon Jin-yeong), who Kang-hoon was in a conflict with. Tension between Kang-hoon and Sang-cheol increased.
