In the MBC drama "Can You Hear my Heart", Cha Dong-joo (Kim Jae-won) who has lived all his life hiding the fact that he was deaf, announces the truth openly.
He loses his hearing due to an accident when he was young but he had lived his life as if he wasn't to take revenge on Jin-cheol (Song Seung-hwan).
Cha Dong-joo reveals the biggest secret of his life to stop Joon-ha (Nam Goong-min) who threatens to reveal his secret as he is angered by Hyeon-sook (Lee Hye-yeong) who had used him for revenge for 16 years,
The scene where he reveals his secret at the make up event hall with Woo-ri (Hwang Jeong-eum), Joon-ha, Hyeon-sook, Jin-cheol and reporters was shot on the 15th
Kim Jae-won said, "I think this is Dong-joo's choice to protect a brother he loves more than himself. It is the most extreme weakness but I agree with hoping that people would understand him for who he is".
