The December 15th episode of JTBC's "Fermented Family" revealed a peculiar relationship between Lee Kang-san (Park Jin-hee) and Ki Ho-tae (Song Il-kook).

Lee Kang-san went out to the vegetable garden to greet customers. She ordered kitchen assistant Ki Ho-tae to pick some lettuce. He grumbled about it.

She tried to show him how it was done and held his hand. He then grew red in the face and angered, "Why are you holding my hand!?"

Lee Kang-san then smiled shamelessly and said, "So you see me as a woman?" Ho-tae stood right up and put his face inches from hers. There was silence for a minute and the two faced an awkward moment. Lee Kang-san ran out of the lettuce patch.

Meanwhile, Ki Ho-tae had suspicions about their relationship. He thought they might be related as he was from the same orphanage, but at the same time couldn't help feeling her as a woman.

Finally, Ki Ho-tae stole Lee Kang-san and Lee Woo-joo's (Lee Min-young) toothbrushes and asked for DNA identification.
