"Will there be a miracle for me?"
Choi Min-soo's final diary made those watching cry.
JTBC drama "Happy Ending" on the 9th showed terminally-ill Doo-soo (Choi Min-soo) who refused to be admitted to the hospital so that he could spend one more day with his family, finally being taken to the hospice department as he wasn't able to stand the pain.
Knowing that death was coming closer day by day, Doo-soo gathered his remaining strength to look as bright as possible for his family.
At the end of the episode, Doo-soo's truthful diary was revealed. He wrote, "I am not afraid of dying. What scares me most is not being able to see my family". He showed amazing love for his family even on the verge of death.
While he showed his family accepting death, one day he said, "How much longer must I live to be satisfied? Would things have changed if I discovered this illness sooner?" and caused sadness.
Looking at a picture, he thought of his family and said, "Won't there be a miracle for me?" and ended his diary.
Viewers pitied Doo-soo and hoped for a miraculous twist.
Doo-soo revealed 'four wishes' to end his life and made his family realize that death was near.
