[Spoiler] Hero skilled like Superman born as Bruce Wayne

"Hero - Drama - 2012" episode 1 OCN, Sunday at 11PM

Imaginary Mooyeong City, the mayor's roughneck second son Heuk-cheol (Yang Dong-geun) gets involved in a case while hitting on female detective Yoon Ee-on (Han Chae-ah) and gets shot. His father Kim Hoon (Son Byeong-ho) requests for the new medicine that hasn't even been through medical demonstration yet to save his son's life. Thanks to the new medicine, Heuk-cheol achiveves supernatural powers. However, discovering that his father was corrupted and that he was committing crime for reelection, he is reborn a hero deciding that he will stand against his father and brother Myeong-cheol's corrupted deeds and leaderships using his newly given supernatural powers. The good son fighting against a bad father is already familiar to us but it is still interesting and this hero is crooked and naughty but rhythmical like Yang Dong-geun himself.

What's the most interesting in "Hero - Drama - 2012" is the dilemma intended in it. Mooyeong City is dystopia which is divided into regular zone and special zones with its extreme level gap and prejudices. Kim Hoon pushes forward with the hard-line policy of severely punishing crime as the main point. The special zone which is made up of mostly mixed people and the poor turn inside out and Kim Hoon isolates it even more for his reelection. Like detective Yoon said, "Being rich is a crime. Not realizing that is an even bigger crime", making Mooyeong City hell is all the problem of money, rank and power. Seeing that "Hero - Drama - 2012" is reflecting on the problems we have here today, it pinpoints the matter of money and power. However, the hero who is going to solve this problem is not someone from the lower class but a mutant from inside the power circle and this is where the dilemma starts. The more Heuk-cheol is active, the lower class is not the main agenda in deciding its own fate but just a subject being protected by Heuk-cheol the 'awakened rich boy'. This could end randomly after all the problems being presented. Will "Hero - Drama - 2012" be able to avoid these traps?
