On the forty-sixth episode of the KBS 1TV drama "Jeong Do-jeon", the Confucian Scholars refused to see Joseon's past.

Lee Seong-gae (Yoo Dong-geun) opened the past to gather those who will run the Joseon. However, there were no successful applicants. This is because the scholars were against Lee Seong-gye in the throne.

With the eradication of the counter revolution coming up, Jeong Do-jeon (Cho Jae-hyun) is in confliction.

Jeong Do-jeon oppressed the scholars and was charged with the crime of insulting the king. Lee Soong-in (Jung Hee-tae) faced a tragic death in the end. And Jeong Do-jeon commemorated his friends' deaths with incense.
