On the 17th episode of SBS drama "ATHENA" (written by Kim Hyeon-joon, Yoo Nam-kyeong/ produced by Kim Yeong-joon, Kim Tae-hoon-II and Hwang Jeong-hyeon) anti-North spy Kim Sun-hwa (Kim So-yeon) made a appearance.

Kim Sun-hwa was living a new life in New Zealand. She had made a family with a husband and a child. However, North Korea was eliminating agents who escaped. Park Cheol-young (Kim Seung-woo) and Kim Ki-soo (Kim Min-jong) tried to let her know of this fact.

Kim Sun-hwa tried to contact Kim Ki-soo without her family knowing but the North Korean agents were quicker. She took control of the agents with her skills but lost her husband and child in the end. Kim Sun-hwa misunderstood the voice of Park Young-cheol from one of the dead agents phone.

She swore with rage that she would take revenge on him and the republic in the name of her daughter. Park Young-cheol couldn't help but be taken aback by her rage. He then later finds out the state of her family and becomes shocked.

Kim So-yeon played the same role in "ATHENA" as she did in the 2009 KBS 2TV drama "IRIS" as well as Kim Seung-woo who returned as Park Cheol-young. More interest adds to the drama as Kim Sun-hwa is about to take revenge.
