'Mirror of Witch' aired its first episode on May 13th.

'Mirror of Witch' is a fantasy period drama depicting the coming-of-age story and the romance of the two main characters: the ill-fated princess Seo-ri, whose heart is frozen due to a curse, and the passionate young man Heo Joon, who is hiding his fiery anger deep inside his heart.
The first episode moved forward surrounding Queen Sim (Jang Hee-jin)'s pregnancy and other important characters around her.
Queen Sim was very disappointed when she realized she was not pregnant. Queen dowager Yoon was very angry and King Myeong-jong (Lee David), who was no less than a puppet, also felt stuck. The woman shaman Hong-ju (Yum Jung-ah) declaimed that she would make sure that they would be able to hold a baby crown prince in their arms soon. And then she made Queen Sim take off her clothes and then whipped her. Later, Hong-ju found out Queen Sim was a barren woman and it was the beginning of the tragedy.
Queen Sim begged Hong-ju, "I'll listen to you, so please help me get pregnant". And then the queen went to woman shaman Hae-ran and asked her to wash off the king's rotten vitality". Because of this, Hae-ran spent a night with King Myeong-jong and she became pregnant.
Hong-ju told Queen Sim, "Although someone else became pregnant, the baby will be born to you. Thus kill the pregnant woman".
Queen Sim became pregnant though black marble magic after all and Hong-ju killed Hae-ran and her family. Hae-ran died leaving the curse behind, "A gorgeous twin will be born, but they will die on the 17th birthday".
