On the first episode of the new MBC drama "Miss Ripley", Jang Mi-ri Lee Da-hae) lives an unfortunate life, being abandoned by her mother when she is young, gets adopted to Japan and lives a low life there, then escapes to Korea.

Jang Mi-ri sells laughter to men in a pub in Fukuoka, Japan wearing a red wig. Her sexy revealing outfit and voluptuous expression completes her hostess look.

Saving money tenaciously, Jang Mi-ri runs away from her pimp Hirayama (Kim Jung-tae) after setting the shop on fire. On the flight to Korea, she dreams about her mother who abandoned her and sets foot on Korean land with tears in her eyes.

However, for the reasons that she doesn't have a degree and that she is an illegal immigrant, she gets denied from all interviews and even gets molested by the interviewer in the last place she visits. She gets angry at him when he tells her to deal with her body if she doesn't have the qualifications. "I don't have a degree because I didn't have money. Is that all? I don't have parents either! Does that give everyone the right to do this?"

Insulted and humiliated Jang Mi-ri cried her heart out in the bathroom. This scene was judged as the most sentimental and mature act seen from Lee Da-hae so far and allowed viewers to further be engrossed in the drama.

Lee Da-hae drew perfectly the internal character of a human who has nothing but distrust for the world since she was abandoned by her parents at a young age. Curiosity is focused on how Jang Mi-ri's character will be completed by scamming the world in future episodes.

After the broadcast viewers say, "Her act gave me chills", "I am looking forward to Lee Da-hae's femme fatale act", "I have a feeling she's going to create something in this drama" and more.
