On this day, the judge, Seok-gyoo (Kim Jin-woo) suspected the real murderer of the college student of Seochon might be Nam Gyoo-man (Namkoong Min). He then mentioned about a wine opener in front of Nam Gyu-man.

While he was having a dinner with Gyu-man, Seok-gyoo randomly cast a question saying, "Do you think a wine opener can kill someone?" Gyoo-man was stirred inside a little but he quickly said, "I'm not sure because I haven't killed anyone".

Nam Gyoo-man then asked, "Let me ask you a question. Let's say one of your friends killed someone. So you're sitting at the trial as a judge, what would you do?" He added, "If you're a judge, then you'll punish him correctly and if the criminal happened to be your friend, then you'd have to be more impartial about it. That's what a friend is for after all". A tense war of nerves between the two friends: a judge and a murderer continued.
