Kim Il-ri (Lee Si-young) claims herself as a guardian angel for Jang Hee-tae (Uhm Tae-woong)

On the 1^st episode of tvN drama 'Valid Love', which aired on the 1^st of December, Il-ri attempts to win love from Jang Hee-tae (Uhm Tae-woong) through intense flirting.

Il-ri attracted to Hee-tae secretly picks him as a future husband and claims herself as a guardian angel for him. She acts as a bodyguard for him saying it is dangerous when it's dark at night. Even when Hee-tae asks her, "Are you teasing me?" she simply ignores the comment and starts singing a song, "To My Boyfriend" while holding a dried cod as a microphone under the light of the street lamp.

Hee-tae asks her then what her dream is. Il-ri replies her dream is to become a painter and asks back, "Wouldn't I be a cute painter in a pair of khaki suspender pants?". They share earbuds to listen to classic, original soundtracks together. From the scene where Il-ri steals a kiss from Hee-tae, there will be 7-year gap in the relationship between these two.
