"THE CHASER - Drama" Son Hyeon-joo is about to become useless despite the fact that he held hands with Park Geun-hyeong.
On the eighth episode of the SBS drama "THE CHASER - Drama" on the 19th, Baek Hong-seok (Son Hyeon-joo) held hands with chairman Seo (Park Geun-hyeong) and opened a press conference to reveal all the evil deeds of Kang Dong-yoon (Kim Sang-joong).
Kang bought in squad chief Hwang (Kang Shin-il) to catch Baek and Hwang pointed a gun at his head saying, "I never thought I'll do this". Baek defeated him with bare hands and ran away to Jang Byeong-ho (Jeon Gook-hwan).
Angered by Kang's atrocity, Baek decided he will receive help from chairman Kang as he wanted to catch Kang so bad even if it meant to hold hands with evil. Seo ordered a press conference through Jang Byeong-ho.
An announcement was soon made on TV saying, "Baek Hong-seok has appeared in a week. There will be an urgent press conference in an hour" and Kang called him father and said goodbye.
Sin Hye-ra (Jang Sin-yeong) told Seo Ji-soo (Kim Seong-ryeong), "Just one person has to take the blame for everything. Kang can give up this campaign and try again the next one. I will do everything I can to make sure you don't stay in prison too long".
Seo Ji-soo decided to follow what Sin said as there was no way out. She took the blame for the crime and the manipulation of court.
At the end of the episode, Baek Hong-seok's microphone went off and he couldn't reveal the truth. Jang Byeong-ho stopped him and told him the real criminal had been caught.
