On the 7th episode of KBS 2TV drama, "The King's Face", Seonjo (Lee Sung-jae) fell for the conspiracy plotted by Lady Kim (Kim Gyu-ri) and made a deep bow to Ming military commander.

Gwang Hae (Seo In-guk) stayed within the capital alone, organized volunteer corps to continue the fight. Lady Kim made a deal with Ming military commander to pressure Gwang Hae.

The cruel Ming military commander ordered Seonjo to make a deep bow to him. Seonjo followed the order with thoughts, 'I should become a king who leads the war into victory".

Seonjo said clenching his teeth, "Thanks to the support from Ming, we could recover Pyeongyang successfully. How can I repay the kindness" Ming commander responded laughing, "I just said the words because I was drunk. I really did not believe you would actually follow my words".

The Ming commander expressed his uncomfortable feeling against Gwang Hae's arrogant behaviors. Seonjo called in Gwang Hae and told him to apologize. These efforts by Seonjo were to stop the peach negotiation between Japan and Ming. However the negotiation had already been completed. Gwang Hae became furious at this and this predicted an upcoming counterattack from him.
