The final episode of the KBS 2TV drama "The Prime Minister and I" showed Da-jeong (Yoona) leaving on a trip by herself.

Yoo-sik (Lee Han-wi) passed and Da-jeong was clearing things up around her when she told Yool (Lee Beom-soo) and In-ho (Yoon Si-yoon) her decision. Yool, who was dreaming of a new start by resigning his post as Prime Minister, asked her if she had to do that.

Da-jeong said, "If our relations continue, if we can really start over, then I will hold your hand. I was happy to have been with you, even for a short while".

Da-jeong left and changes came to Yool. Hye-joo (Chae Jung-an) managed to rise on her own and grew up to be a politician ready to form a party. Na-yeong (Jung Ae-yun) appeared and united Joon-ki (Ryu Jin) and Yool's long term conflict. The relationship with Yoon-hee (Yoon Hae-young) was also recovered.

Da-jeong started her travelling around the world and became a story writer. A book of hers had been delivered safely to Yool. Then they met again. Da-jeong joked that she was planning on a book called, "The Prime Minister and I".

Yool asked, "Who's the main character, me or you?" and Da-jeong answered, "The both of us". This opened the long road for them as a real couple and finished in a happy ending.
