"The Sun and the Moon" ended just like the original novel.
On the twentieth episode of the MBC drama "The Sun and the Moon" aired on the 15th, Yang-myeong (Jeong Il-woo), the Queen (Kim Min-seo) and Jang Nok-yeong (Jeon Mi-seon) died.
Yang-myeong, who planned a revolt with Lee Hwon (Kim Soo-hyeon), handed over the hit men in Yoon Dae-hyeong's gang according to the King's orders and chose death. He had chosen death for Lee Hwon even when the revolt was possible.
The Queen Yoon Bo-kyeong soliloquized before killing herself, "All I ever wanted from the king since the first time I met him was sincerity". She failed to get Lee Hwon's love and decided that she had no place to stay after her father's revolt. Jang Nok-yeong ended her life while handling a memorial ceremony for the late Seol (Yoon Seung-ah), the king's mother (Kim Yeong-ae), Yang-myeong and the Queen.
Heo Yeon-woo (Han Ga-in) finally reunited with her mother Sin (Yang Mi-kyeong). Princess Min-hwa (Nam Bo-ra) who engaged in making the black magic potion that killed Heo Yeon-woo became a hostess after giving birth but eventually pardoned and returned to Heo Yeom (Song Jae-hee).
Heo Yeon-woo got married to Lee Hwon and lived happily after with their son. At the end of the episode, Lee Hwon prepared a Gayageum performance for Heo Yeon-woo's birthday. Their kissing scene diaplyed the last of the drama.
Meanwhile, "The King 2 Hearts" with Ha Ji-won, Lee Seung-gi, Yoon Je-moon and Lee Yoon-ji is coming soon on the 21st.
