Ssamji Animation (CEO: Kim, Su-Hoon) and Kokaban (CEO: Kim, Ji-Hwan) have announced that they recently signed a contract with HIT Entertainment, an internationally renowned kids' content provider, to jointly develop T5, a 3D animation series for TV.
Based on the story of "Chichi", a mouse who takes on a journey to solve the mystery about his father, a legendary racer, and an evil gang "Dupang", and joins hands with his animal friends to score victory in the T-Cup, T5 will made up of 52 parts, each 11 minutes long. T5 had been selected as an excellent pilot content in 2006 by the Korea Culture and Content Agency (KOCCA, CEO:Suh, Byung-Moon) for its superior 3D visuals and the characters' commercial appeal.
The protagonist and his friends, who appear with exciting racing cars, will also be featured in an online game, which will then showcase fun racing games, shooting and bumping, and other various action games. This move is expected to lead a new era in the casual duel-game market.
HIT Entertainment is famous for its thorough and concentrated plans to penetrate the gaming market and has made many long-run hit characters, such as "Thomas & Friends", "Bob the Builder", "Fireman Sam", "Barney and Friends", and "Pingu".
