What can happen in 12 hours? Apparently, a bit too much. Directed by Kim Jin Sung (The Showdown), Surprise (a.k.a. Surprise Party) follows two strangers over the course of one long day that brings amusing hijinks and budding love. The always likable Shin Ha Kyun (Guns & Talks) stars opposite Lee Yo Won (Take Care of My Cat) and Kim Min Hee (Asako in Ruby Shoes) in this unpredictable romantic comedy. Funny, touching, and utterly entertaining, this film has more than a few surprises up its sleeves.
Mi Ryung (Kim Min Hee) wants to throw her boyfriend Jung Woo (Shin Ha Kyun) a surprise birthday party, but there are still some kinks in the plan. Jung Woo is half-Hawaiian which does not fly with Mi Ryung's conservative father, so she needs to spend some more time convincing her father otherwise. With Jung Woo arriving in Korea in the early morn, Mi Ryung sends her best friend Ha Young (Lee Yo Won) to the airport with the task of keeping him away while she works out the details. Without revealing her identity, Ha Young goes to all lengths to keep the good-natured Jung Woo occupied by pulling out various crazy schemes. Ha Young succeeds in keeping Jung Woo busy, but in the course of the day, the two begin to fall for each other.

Not boring
| This is quite enjoyable, contrary to my expections. A girl meets boy.. who she thought is the boyfriend of her friend. Nice cool movie.. not much to expect though. Suggest you just borrow a copy. |

one of the best!!!!!
| i have to say that this movie was very enjoyable...at first we thought that he was really her friends boyfriend, but at the end it wasn't (that was a goo thing)... it really does show how guys could come in between a good friend ship...this movie was funny and great...i reallie liked it very much.....i recommend this movies to all who wants their friend to babysit their boyfriend.....hehehehehehe....enjoy...:) |

this movie was GREAT!
| i've seen many korean movies, and this one will be one of my favorites. it is very cute, and has to do a lot with friendship, and how guys can get inbetween. i loved the ending and i thought it was very sweet. it has a humor to it, but i didn't find it extremeley funny. |

this movie is about friendship and how guys can get in between. be ready to be moved. i liked this movie a lot. this was my first korean movie. and i didn't know how interesting it could be. if you like cute movies ....u will like this one. |

I like she so much when the first time I look at her movie and now, I see many her movie and I love she so much. She is very beautiful and I like her fashion, that's good. I like her eyes, it seems sad and I like her mouth, it's very beautiful. When she smile, I see all the world about her, she's very great in my heart.... |
