Actress Kim Hyeong-ja, 61, went into surgery yesterday after she fractured both of her legs in a car accident.
According to media reports, Kim was involved in an accident on Saturday at a parking lot near her home when her car suddenly lurched forward.
She has been recovering at the Catholic University of Korea hospital in Banpo-dong, southern Seoul. Her doctors said she will need at least one month to fully recover.
The accident has caused production of SBS' morning drama "Miss Ajumma" to be delayed by one week, according to Hwa and Dam Pictures, the production company.
