Yim Jae-beom, who has regained his fame through recent appearances on MBC's hit reality show "Survival: I Am a Singer", returned to the spotlight with a sell-out concert at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Yim's agency said yesterday.
Yedang Entertainment said that Yim received a standing ovation from the 7,000 viewers at the Nokia Theater for his performance on Friday. Nokia Theater has previously hosted such talents as Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion and Bon Jovi.
Yim appeared with actor Kim Young-ho and other guests.
"Fans who watched the concert said that they were proud of them and were moved by the performance", Yedang Entertainment said in a statement. The agency added that the two-hour concert will be shown in Korea in the future as part of MBC's show "Our Sunday Night: Carried by the Wind".
