Teen Star Lee Ji-eun Chooses Music Over University

Teenage singer Lee Ji-eun has released her second album with 13 songs, exactly one year after her hit song "Good Day" took the K-pop market by storm.

"It'd be difficult to be seen fresh as I was a year ago, but I can confidently say that this new album is a better effort along similar lines", the 18-year-old said.

On the day of the nationwide university entrance examination, Lee Ji-eun instead took part in a photo shoot for the album cover. "How much can a university education do for my music career?" she asked.

Her management agency claims Lee Ji-eun is in fact being wooed by several prestigious universities for their special admissions program. "People go to university in order to learn to do what they want to do", a defiant Lee Ji-eun said. "But I'm already doing it. I will face music squarely, just like I have been doing since I was in middle school".
