- Repay the love

Lee Min-ho has recently started the social charity project PROMIZ. Coming from the English word 'promise' and the name of his fan club MINOZ, PROMIZ means he promises the love he's gained from fans.

As a part of that, all profits earned from his Asian fan meeting and other businesses related to it, will be donated. Amount of profit and its origins will be revealed and it's his plan to return the love he's got to charity.

Kim Soo-hyun recently donated 200 million won to the Chinese charity foundation CCTF. This donation will be used to help local children in need and to support them through medical help.

Park Hae-jin is also doing the same. He's the first Korean star to win anything at the 4th Acting Grand Awards held in Beijing last month. A theater will be established under his name and the Lotte Cinema in Tianjin, China and all profits from this theater will be used to help little children.

- Practice the meaning of returning to society

All the Hallyu stars that have gone through China until now have been criticized for being greedy about their earnings. Hallyu experts said that this was the cause to anti-Hallyu.

HS Media Jason Jang who has been in charge of marketing Rain, Song Hye-kyo and Jang Keun-suk in China, said, "Chinese have seen Korean stars as those who only make money in China and return to Korea. So Chinese fans criticize them. There is a need for the Hallyu stars to return what they have earned to society and continuously keep in touch with the local fans. It's also important that the stars understand the local culture and influences as Hallyu is at a peak once again".
