The original movie directed by the legendary Shin Sang Ok received the Best Director prize at the 1st Daejong Film Awards. With a new title and a fresh cast, Swindler In My Mom's House provides a comic twist to the original storyline. The well-mannered guest is now replaced with a swindler, the shy widow with a lustful single mother. The story revolves around this quirky couple and their hilarious episodes. The drama is shot in the beautiful southern coastline of Kyung Sang province, which is already famous for backdropping films like Tazza: The High Rollers and Barefoot Gi Bong, and the fishing village setting provides plenty of tenderhearted moments.
