The late director Lee Man-hee-I is Lee Hye-young-I's father

Actress Lee Hye-young-I reminisced about her father Lee Man-hee-I.

On the KBS 2TV "Seung Seung Jang-gu", actress Lee Hye-young-I spoke about her acting life.

About her father Lee Man-hee-I who passed away when she was 13, she said, "He lived his life like a movie" and compared his life to a blaze.

Director Lee Man-hee-I debuted with "Jumadeung" in 1961 and made 50 or so more films in 15 years, making him the representative movie director in the 20th century.

He is also the original maker of the movie "Late Autumn - 2010" with Hyun Bin and Tang Wei and maker of the movie "Break up the Chain" which became a motive for director Kim Jee-woon's "The Good, the Bad, the Weird".

Lee Hye-young-I said, "My father passed away when I started middle school. I have vivid thoughts of him but no memories. We weren't well off so watching his back when he got on the bus and not his own car was like a movie for me".
