After a heroic life in the battlefield defending his kingdom, Shilla general Bi Ha Rang (Jung Jun Ho) has won not only the trust, but also the love of Queen Jin Sung (Kim Hye Ri). Bi's heart, however, belongs to Woon Bi (Kim Hyo Jin). One day while he is away, Woon Bi is murdered and thrown into the Thousand Years Lake, which is cursed by the slaughtered Awoota family. The murder sparks off the furious revenge of the Awoota.
Director Lee Kwang Hoon's historical romance The Legend of The Evil Lake stars Jung Jun Ho from Marrying the Mafia, new Korean new Kim Hyo Jin, and Kim Hye Ri from Bichunmoo. Based on a Korean legend, the epic costume film unfolds a timeslove tale amidst amazing visuals and beautiful cinematography.

Good cinematography
| The story is predictable. The action is ok, even the costumes. I just find this movie, a little violent for Jung Jun Ho... i like him more in my boss, my teacher. |

Simply Great Movie!
| Just like many fans out there this movie truly captured my heart. Where should I begain! The characters in the movie protrayed by actors were just wonderful,and actors themselves who protrayed characters were just as wonderful as well. The characters in the movie played out quite well the way it should be,and not to mentioning colorful acesseries and costumes of period,espescially that of Queen of Shiilla was just as beautiful as Queen herself! I must say,for this movie I give my thumb up! |

Very Sad and cute, but the ending was Predictable
| This movie was so cute! It is so great how the guy was totally devoted to his love, but man the ending was so predictable...I say this movie is worth the time for people who likes lovey dovey movies!! |

| I didn't like this movie nor did I like it either. There were some points in the movie that got me interested and some points in the movie that made me want to sleep. But the action was good! I have to give mad props for the choreography of the fighting sceens though! Mad props! |

Worth Watching
| This movie is definitely worth watching. Of course, there are more things that could have been done to improve the movie, but overall, I really enjoyed it. I loved the costume designs, the action packed scenes, and mostly, the love story. I would have liked to see the love relationship developed more, but as I said, I was happy with what I got. I was especially satisfied to see a poor girl rise after her death and avenge her offenders, although it was done only by her demon possessor. The movie had a clear beginning, a climatic middle, and a resolution to a peaceful end. I liked it! |
