KBS 2TV drama "The Princess' Man" is gaining popularity for its fancy images and the charismatic acts of the middle aged actors and actresses.
The first episode of "The Princess' Man" was shown on the 20th of July and its colorful pictures were eye catching. Lee Soon-jae, Kim Young-cheol, Jeong Dong-hwan, Lee Min-woo-I and others acting also added to the fun of the drama.
However, the lack of something in Moon Chae-won and Park Si-hoo's performance is lagging the drama. The two say their lines as if reading from a book and their awkward vocalization doesn't help focus on the drama.
Moon Chae-won, who has had lots of experience with historicals, couldn't get rid of that awkwardness every time she said something, as well as Park Si-hoo. Being experienced with the historical drama "Iljimae" before, his performance right now is down right disappointing.
Park Si-hoo especially looked like it was too much for him when he was carrying out a long line, scolding a Moon Chae-won whom he saved from danger riding a horse. He disturbed concentration by carrying out the line in the same mono tone the whole time. After the episode netizens put up on the bulletin, "Seung-yoo's awkward tone and expression bothers me", "The productionand images are great but the two main characters ned to brush up on their acting", and more.
Hong Soo-hyeon is being complimented for her steady acting. She is the proud and arrogant but unlucky Princess Kyeong-hye.
How Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won will carry out the Se-ryeong and Seung-yoo characters in the future is a question.
