The transgender star Harisu married her long-time boyfriend Micky Jung at the Millenium Hall of Central City in Seocho-gu, Seoul on Saturday. KBS anchor Shin Young-il presided over the wedding, and Kim Suk-kwon, the Dong-A University professor who performed Harisu's sex change surgery in 1995, officiated at the wedding. The two left for their honeymoon to Thailand on Sunday. The couple will start their married life together at Harisu's house in Nonhyun-dong, Seoul.
