The Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange is hosting the "TV Drama Writers Conference of Asia" for four days starting from Wednesday in Seoul.
About 3-hundred drama writers and producers from various countries in Asia are participating at the conference.
They will be discussing the similarities and differences people can find through the popular soap operas of each country.
At a welcoming dinner on Wednesday those who have helped increase the competitiveness of their drama industries received plaques of thanks.
Those interested in the drama business are also welcome to attend.
