
KOCCA-KTO Concludes Agreement to Promote Development of Content & Tourism Industry
By connecting the contents of popular culture, such as drama and music, and traditional culture with the tourism industry, KOCCA will be actively engaged in activities to enhance the competitiveness of Korea's content industry.
The Korea Creative Content Agency (President & CEO Lee Jae-woong) and the Korea Tourism Organization (CEO Lee Charm) concluded an "Agreement for Cooperation and Co-Development of the Tourism and Content Industries" on the morning of the November 18th at the Sangam-dong KOCCA headquarters.
President & CEO Lee Jae-woong of the Korea Creative Content Agency, CEO Lee Charm of the Korea Tourism Organization, and the relevant personnel were present at the ceremony, during which the two organizations discussed ways to cooperate so as to connect the content and tourism industries.
The two organizations have agreed to work together in planning and promoting new projects that could bring about synergy effects through the connection of contents and tourism, to cooperate in connecting the projects promoted individually by each organization, and to co-promote the relevant projects in Korea and overseas.
President & CEO Lee Jae-woong of the Korea Creative Content Agency said, "There are various fields where the combined efforts of the content industry and the tourism industry could generate great synergy effects.
KOCCA and the KTO will cooperate in numerous ways to strengthen the competitiveness of the content industry and enhance international recognition of Korea".
