Uhm Hyo-sup plays Oh Wook-hwan, the father of Ha Seo-yoon (Queen Oh) in the drama and a member of the female entertainment club. Called naturally petty and crafty and a hero from heaven, he is a person who never hesitates to go in and out of Lee Gyu-hoe's (Park Jong-hwan) house. He will also act like a bulldozer for his concubine in the drama.

Earlier, Uhm Hyo-sup not only contributed to the birth of well-made historical dramas such as "Queen Seon-deok", "Gu Family Book" and " The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won" but also acted across genres in various works. In the recently-ended drama "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" he played the role of Park Jae-won, a somewhat strict but warm-hearted Minister of Interior.

Uhm Hyo-sup, who freely moved back and forth between villains and roles, showed an unlimited spectrum of acting. Attention is focused on his performance in "Captivating the King" which he chose as his first work this year.

"Captivating the King" will premiere on the 21st and will be organized for the first and second consecutive episodes.
