[Webtoon] Which Mother, Do You Think, Creates The Best Drama?

Maha Lee from Imitation has been lacking love and attention from her mother since young. Her family puts her brother first, dismissing Maha as insignificant. They don't even know she debuted a year ago!

During an interview, Maha reveals that her happiest moment was when, after her debut, she became fine with not receiving attention at home.

So what does this result in Maha Lee's love life? She subconsciously puts up a wall, deflecting the love she's ever wanted. It is only natural for her to feel unfamiliar with the concept of love.

Confused and startled by Ryoc Kwon's approach, she misinterprets his good intentions. Ryoc Kwon will have to work extra hard to break down her wall!

Seul-Woo, from Cat & Dog, has to deal with a much more intense mom. Their relationship is as tense as it could possibly be, and their every encounter results in violent and fiery insults. Seul-Woo's mom complains that if she didn't get pregnant with him, she "wouldn't be here rotting away at this prime age".

The only family member Seul-Woo connected with was his father, but he suddenly disappeared from his life, leaving Seul-Woo all alone and abandoned.

A little like Maha Lee from Imitation, Seul-Woo is not used to getting love and affection, and is cynical about life. He has a sardonic and bitter outlook on life as a way to protect himself. Young-Woo, is the only one who has the power to get through his cruel persona and prove that true love exists.

Hae-Kyung, from Shall We Have Dinner Tonight?, has the most normal mom out of the three webtoons. But even his mom isn't perfect. Hae-Kyung explains that she wasn't very family oriented, "not a maternal type at all", and even disappeared from time to time for her work. Yet he deeply respects and loves her. In fact, he liked that side of her, because he believes it's a good thing to be a little selfish.

On her hospital bed, Hae-Kyung's mom tears up, saying that she can't believe she has a son like him, and that he is making it difficult for her to leave. Cue the tears. Hae-Kyung's mom may not have been the stereotypical there-for-you-all-the-time maternal figure, but it is truly heartwarming to see the unspoken love and care this mother-son pair has for one another. We can see why Hae-Kyung is such a "Nice Guy".

So, which of the three, creates the best drama for you?
