'07 Asia Song Festival to Open in Seoul

The guest list of the 2007 Asia Song Festival, Asia's biggest music gala, has been decided.
The Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange says 14 teams from nine countries will perform at the festival opening Sept. 22nd at Seoul World Cup Stadium. The star studded list includes Lee Hyori, Super Junior and SG Wannabe from Korea, F4 and Cheung A-mei from Taiwan, ZhaoWei of China, Gigi Leung of Hong Kong and Golf & Mike of Thailand.
The concert will be free and tickets can be downloaded from the foundation Web site from early September.
Chief of the foundation board of directors Sin Hyeon-taek says "we hope that the 2002 World Cup fever would repeat at the song festival as a venue to boost the Asian music industry and cultural exchange".
