'Bin Jip - 3-Iron' and 'Old Boy' were selected as candidate films in 'Non European film' of the 'European Film Awards 2004' that the Europe Film Academy announced on Nov. 11.

Candidate films in 'Non European Film'
The two movies compete with another 9 movies such as '2046', 'Motorcycle diary', 'Fahrenheit 9/11' etc. for 'the Non European Film Award (Screen International Award)'.

The award-winning film is announced in a ceremony of awarding prizes that will be held in Barcelona, Spain on Dec. 11.

Director Kim Ki-duk: Selection for two consecutive years

Director Kim Ki-duk was selected for two onsecutive years till this year, now that his 'Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring' was nominated in this part last year also.
