'First Wives' Club' Nears 40% Viewer Rating

"First Wives' Club", a popular drama series on KBS TV, has maintained its number one position for two straight months. Viewers are now asking whether or not the drama series will exceed a viewer rating of 40 percent.
According to AGB Nielson Media Research, "First Wives' Club" recorded a nationwide viewer rating of 34.1 percent--37.2 percent in Seoul and 37 percent in the greater metropolitan area. The drama series is currently the only TV program with a viewer rating of over 30 percent.
SBS predicted that thea viewer rating will climb higher to the 40-percent range.
With the full-fledged revenge of the wives having started, the show has been extended from 80 episodes to 104 episodes and will conclude through late September.
